Chapter 227 has aggressive member marketing activities as shown below. The chapter is actively searching for now sites to market. Over the years we have been to the Mission bbq restaurants 5 times and tank farm three. Each time we pick up between 20/25 prospects. Adding to this I have picked up 20 over past two years and a few from others. Total about 175 to 200 and about 30 to 33% actually joining or in the 50 to 60 new member range. Adding this to the large number bill picked up from transfers from national list to our chapter resulted in the member gains.
