The chapter membership director is a very key person that is responsible for maintaining all records on potential and new members as well as processing the applications. Specifically, this includes:

1. Receiving all leads to possible new members and reach out to them to encourage membership.. 
2. Check application for completeness and if person served during Vietnam Period..
3. Maintain a database of all potential and actual members.
4. Provide application to national and monitor receipt of member number.
5. Provide information to add to the newsletter database for the new member
